  • Homeowners who chose the rooftop deck paid a hefty premium for it. What they were not told is that the plans were not to code. When the homes were built the stairwell had to be expanded and instead of getting a master bedroom that was 10'2" wide.. they got one that was 8'6". Too tight to put bedside tables. Minto's response, "Oh well, to bad." Should buyers be angry that Minto doesn't know building codes? Or should they be angry that by the fourth phase Minto had to know the master bedroom size was wrong and continued to sell the units with incorrect dimensions?
