Initially incorporated in 1978 as Rossbro Developments, the company was rebranded Achille Developments in honour of its founder and remains a privately owned real estate company. Commencing its operations modestly with a series of single-family custom-built homes, Achille has transformed into a fully integrated development company. Soon after incorporation, the company branched from residential into commercial/industrial buildings with a number of projects in the Mississauga area.In the early 1990s, Achille was one of the most active companies in the non-profit housing sector completing various projects for the Ministry of Housing. Achille soon ventured into seniors housing. Its first project in Woodbridge was one of the first condominiums built in Vaughan and the first dedicated to independent living for seniors. This was followed by a four building complex in Maple of over 350 units and later the Residences of Springhill in King City. Today, Achille has a portfolio of projects across asset classes in the GTA and Ottawa.
