The Well Condos is a New Condo development by Tridel located at Spadina and Front W, Toronto.

Welcome to The Well Condos, a 1.4 billion dollar mixed-use and master-planned community in Toronto’s Fashion District. This ambitious redevelopment of the Globe & Mail building at Front St. and Spadina Ave. is a joint project by RioCan, Diamondcorp, Tridel, and Allied as a plan to create offices, shops, and residences in the Spadina/Wellington area.

Architectural firm Hariri Pontarini will design this project with careful planning to ensure consistency and interconnectivity of the community. All buildings except the 36 storey tower will house retail stores on the first two levels with engineered red brick as the facades.

Not only are the structures within the community well-planned-out but the laneways and surrounding grounds of this development will also be landscaped to perfection.

It will be the first of its kind not only in Toronto, but in the whole country. The Well Condos will be a 3.1 million-square-foot-mixed use development which will cover 7.8 acres of downtown Toronto real estate. Acclaimed Real Estate Developer Tridel will spearhead the project that will see 3 high-rise condos, along with 3 apartments, an office building and retail space totalling 420,000 square feet rise up from Spadina avenue and Front Street.

The Well Condos will be THE place to live, work, play, shop, and eat in downtown Toronto. The city is energetic, diverse, and vibrant, and that is what The Well will bring to the downtown core.

The 420,000 square feet of retail space will house premium, flagship, and concept stores along with restaurants, cafes, entertainment options and a grocery store. Shoppers will be covered from the elements by a glass canopy but will still be able to enjoy the experience of open-air retail shopping.

With The Well Condos central location to some of the city’s most popular areas, like King West, Queen West, The Entertainment and Financial Districts and the Lakefront, it truly will become the center of the community for neighborhood residents.

Once the home to garment warehouses, the Fashion District today is a mix of demographics consisting of professionals, artists, designers, and students who enjoy a great deal of the amenities found nearby. The close proximity to the buzzing King West neighbourhood and the employment hub, The Financial District, are additional perks of living in the Fashion District.
